The Success Coach
Personal Branding Strategist
The world is not the same as it once was. Recent technological and medical advances have prolonged life and provided tools for the world to spin faster, but how many of us are positioned for success in this new world? As a Master’s level certified success coach from the College of Executive Coaching, I can help you navigate in the changing world around you. With over 25 years experience working with clients from all walks of life, I have identified what determines success and what holds you back. My specialty is helping people get unstuck to mobilize into action.
On January 25, 2011, during the State of the Union address, President Obama urged Americans to ‘reinvent themselves’ encouraging innovation. He cited that “our free-enterprise system is what drives innovation.” According to Dan Pink, the world has shifted from the Industrial Age, the Information Age, to now the Conceptual Age. In current times, artistic and holistic “right-brain” abilities will determine who will excel. I specialize in helping individuals, entrepreneurs, top leaders, aspiring leaders, scientists, creatives, business owners and everyone in-between re-invent themselves to become marketable and radically differentiate from the competition. It’s important that when others zig, you zag. ~Marty Neumeier
If you’re ready to take steps to truly be successful and happy, discover your “sweet spot” and re-invent yourself and or/your company or your organization, then schedule a complimentary consultation for a free evaluation of your current situation and learn some immediate action steps.

Before entering the corporate arena, I started my career as a therapist. Leveraging my unique perspective, I creatively approached the business world and quickly discovered that what separates successful individuals from unsuccessful ones are tools and resources.
I am currently involved in 3 major start-ups as chief strategist and partner, running a successful coaching and consulting practice, and in the process of launching innovative programs and tools that leverage neuroscience, psychology, and creativity. Through my experience, I have discovered that individuals can achieve guaranteed success with coaching if two criteria are met: 1) you’re ready to invest or commit to yourself and 2) you are open and receptive to trying out new and innovative techniques.
Working with coaching:
you will learn which tools work best for you
create your personal strategic plan based on your highest priorities and long-term vision
discover your natural talents
leverage your unique strengths to experience strategic solutions
start experiencing the career and life you were meant to live

Wanda is an autodidact who has never made a lateral move in her career. With a graduate degree in the psychiatric field and clinical experience, she taught herself to navigate in the business world without a formal business degree by jump-starting her business acumen as a headhunter specializing in technical and executive search. As a result, she is innately experienced as evidenced by her success (achieving results and receiving accolades) through her leadership roles in diverse industries, managing and motivating teams, leading innovative business initiatives, shifting paradigms, and making impact by raising the bar to exceed expectations as she delights her current clients and guides them to move forward in a very engaging and creative way. If you’re ready to have a coaching partner for your adventure in this next decade that will truly challenge you to shift and help you create momentum on your goals, then consider Wanda.

The Quicksand of Your Mind
Are you in struggle?
Your mind a puddle?
Are you stuck?
In the quicksand of your mind?
Are you out of flow?
And problems just grow?
What to do, to solve this riddle?
Stuck in the middle
In the quicksand of your mind.
There’s only one way
Out of this unwanted stay.
Resolve to clearly see
And not live by some false decree
In the quicksand of your mind.

Educational Background and Philosophy
Most experts claim that an individual has five careers in their lifetime. If they measured it, I probably have exceeded the Guinness Book of World Records for number of careers: from therapist, to certified coach, from the clinical world to the corporate jungle, HR, training, consulting, entrepreneur and many roles in-between. I’m a late bloomer. I never identified or acknowledged all my true gifts and talents until several years ago when I realized the power of the Oscar Wilde quote: “Be yourself; everybody else is already taken.” It was at that moment when I stepped into my own shoes and owned that I’m first and foremost creative in everything I do. So, now I’m walking my talk. I’ve been working with clients ever since I can remember in helping them uncover what they truly need to shift into success with their work, relationships, life and step into their own shoes to create the environment that will allow them to thrive!
Fascinated by the cyclical nature of change and the emerging patterns that appear, I began my lifelong quest to understand the formula for success; this journey started my research in the fields of creativity and innovation, including creative intelligence. The big question: If all of us are born with creative talents, what distinguishes the men and women who are recognized for their creative achievements in diverse fields, such as science, engineering, marketing, art, music, manufacturing, literature, poetry, architecture, to name a few? I quickly discovered that similar patterns exist with every client, from every walk of life. The differences lie in how they uniquely respond to life’s stimuli and triggers, based on the resources and tools they possess.
Armed with a graduate degree in the psychiatric field with clinical experience, I gained real life experience about the factors that affect motivation and behavior. With the foundation of understanding human dynamics and the basic framework of understanding people, I leveraged my unique perspective as a therapist and creatively approached the business world. Many articles tout the importance of diversity and objectivity in the workplace. Biologists often make the best physicists and vice versa. Working within the world of business, I effectively used my clinician’s background and functioned without any biases or preconceived notions.
Educated in systems theory, all the traditional filters and screens had been removed. This was not an easy road and resembled Luke Skywalker’s adventure in Star Wars. The experiences received throughout this hero’s journey paved the foundation for my passion and commitment to the field of creativity and innovation. My goal is to assist individuals, groups, and organizations with tools to use their intrinsic creativity within their lives, both at work and within their personal domain.
Assuming unique challenges, I began in the field of executive and technical recruitment for a search firm. My next challenges included leadership roles in corporate consulting, human resources, training and development, health care consulting, telecommunications, IT, performance consulting, sales, advertising, dot.com development, usability, marketing, and e-commerce. I have worked in diverse industries, such as health care, IT, telecommunications, manufacturing, media, call centers, and tax and financial arenas. As a certified executive coach, certified CPP assessments coach, entrepreneur, innovative business strategist, experienced speaker, professional facilitator, author, and poet, I am known for my easy engagement of individuals and groups and my renowned humor.
For me, work and being alive is FUN. My goal is to recharge my clients’ creative batteries and have them invite fun into their life equations. Only by fully engaging with life can individuals attain “Flow.” Only when you attain this optimal state can you achieve true success and happiness and feel totally fulfilled.
