If you're
not managing to balance work and life and can't find the
energy to start, a career and life coach can show
you how to increase your energy and overall work and life
performance.
You are so busy everyday that you
can’t possibly foresee having the time to devote to working on finding more
energy. You have just enough energy during the day to be coherent until about
3pm and then you leave work feeling depleted. Sound familiar?
You have had the obligatory New
Year’s resolution to exercise more and eat better; right? But that always seems
to be pushed to the wayside when you find yourself tired after work. You also
tell yourself that you need that extra 30 minutes to sleep in the morning
instead of going for that morning walk. Most people think of exercise as the
only step to increasing energy, but the key is to realize that the whole trilogy
needs to be fulfilled; not only physical body but also mind and spirit.

When you focus on mind, body, and
spirit you instantly have several avenues to tap into to increase your energy
and towards finding life balance. A life coach will help you define which of
those areas is out of balance, since awareness is the first step to change.
What is your daily routine; including both good and bad habits?
Career Life Coaching
Once you define your routine,
based on what really matters to you (also with values assistance from your
coach), your life coach will help you identify some potentially forgotten
meanings associated with those bad habits which have been causing you to become
trapped and continuously engage in them daily. Hence, the energy depletion.
Don’t forget that some of those bad habits may be cognition in action, thus your
mind will need to be retrained to let go of energy-depleting thoughts.
Medical research in the 1980’s
said that the brain wasn’t capable of much change, but schools now teach
“neuroplasticity” which means that your brain is capable of retraining. So,
your life coach doesn’t view anything as impossible to change and since you are
a multifaceted person, life coaching conversations will focus you on countering
old habits thus creating a new reality. Then, you can take steps to
reprioritize your habits since you will have created new gaps in your daily
routine.
Here is where you start to insert
those activities that bring more focus to your mind, body, and spirit; whichever
areas you said where not being fulfilled. Your life coach may work with you to
incorporate a new daily habit such as yoga. Yoga works on all aspects of the
trilogy (mind, body, spirit) thus working towards the goal; increased energy and
overall life performance.
In addition to the coaching, we
have the expertise to guide you through powerful career
assessment tools.
