Wendy -- Career Coach
I’m Wendy Billie,
career coach with Feroce. As an
in-house coach with a major, Fortune 50 company, I have
a great deal of experience in outplacement -- helping
clients to figure out their next career move -- as well
as in helping clients get to the next level in their
current careers. That's why I was approached by
Feroce's Head Coach to share my skill set as a career
coach. I have also provided advice and career
counseling to MBA and undergraduate students at the
University of Minnesota.
I work with clients on all of the following:
Career tests and assessments: Before you
begin to reinvent yourself, discover who you are as it
relates to work and life. I use my own powerful
assessments as well as Feroce's
Strategic
Life Planning Process, "The Creation of the Future
Self."
Identifying your values to enable you to make a
sound career decision. Is it really a career
transition you desire or is life telling you something
else?
Identifying the roadblocks you will encounter
with your career transition. Hot off the press:
Change is not simple!
Challenging you, holding you accountable, and
never losing sight of the ultimate goal.
I have a master’s degree in Human Resources, which
provides me with a great background from which to give
you with resume advice, negotiating skills, and
interviewing advice. I took steps to reinvent
myself a few years ago because I was stuck in my career. I left a high-paying job as a traveling
occupational therapist, and I sought out a coach, read
books, took career tests, and discovered who I was as my
identity related to career.
I used my skills and life learning in my own reinvention
process. I am now in a career that fits me and
pays even better than the one I worried about giving up.
Career coaching has been a true passion of mine and a
way to continuously challenge others and reinvent myself
in the process. Why consider me as your career
coach? Read my bio.

entrepreneur, executive coach, and project manager.
She also held executive and leadership roles in
human resources, sales, marketing, advertising,
e-commerce, and more. She discovered that the
most common factor in becoming successful in your
career is leveraging your natural strengths and
talents and matching an occupation that allows you
to shine!
“The rules for work are changing. We’re being
judged by a new yardstick; not just by how smart we
are, or by our training and expertise, but also by
how well we handle ourselves and each other.”
--Daniel Goleman
The big question: If all of us are born with
creative talents, what distinguishes the men and
women who are recognized for their creative
achievements in diverse fields, such as science,
engineering, marketing, art, music, manufacturing,
literature, poetry, architecture, to name a few? The
differences lie in how they uniquely respond to
life’s stimuli and triggers, based on the resources
and tools they possess.
Coaching Approach & Tools
I believe work is meant to be fun, easy, and
effortless. Using an intuitive creative style, I
bring “real world” experience navigating the myriad
of challenges and opportunities present in the
workplace in the corporate arena, the healthcare
environment, the industrial world, and the
entrepreneurial universe. My mission is to act as a
catalyst to help you move forward on your goals.
One of my tools, the StrengthFinders™
Profile, identifies your top 5 natural born talents.
My StrengthFinders™
Profile reveals my top 5 strengths:
Self-Assurance - These people feel confident in
their ability to manage their own lives. They
possess an inner compass that gives them confidence that
their decisions are right.
Activator - Can make things happen
by turning thoughts into action. In fact, guided by the
Activator theme, these individuals believe that action
is the best device for learning.
Ideation - Fascinated by
ideas. They are able to find connections between
seemingly disparate phenomena. They are great for
brainstorming.
Strategic - Create alternative
ways to proceed. Faced with any given scenario, they can
quickly spot the relevant patterns and issues.
Learner - Great desire to
learn and want to continuously improve. In particular,
the process of learning, rather than the outcome,
excites them. They learn, extract the useful
applications, and resynthesize this knowledge and
wisdom.
These are perfect strengths to be your career coach.

Anne Angerman - Exclusively
Career Coaching
I'm Anne Angerman,
and through career
coaching, I've coached hundreds of clients to
help
them to find new directions. I specialize in
and focus exclusively on career coaching. I
will help you:
Develop and put into action an individualized
strategy to meet your life goals and aspirations
Take more action that improves your life
Understand
yourself better and know yourself at a deeper level
Clarify where you are going in your life
Learn why you have been unsatisfied with present
vocational situation
Looking at your personal vision
Set up goals and a plan for you to follow
Market yourself
What do I want to do when I
grow up?
I hear this frequently from clients.
For some people, they know at 16 what they want to
do; others search a whole life time to find career
satisfaction and clarity. Why is it hard for
some? Much goes back to our family background,
expectations from others, the values and systems
that influence us.
We have found from research that it is important to
have a career “vision” and to look to certain
factors to help us make a choice. These
factors are:
Abilities, Skills, Interests, Personality, Values,
Family of Origin, Vision and Goals, Career Cycle
(or, Where am I in my life?)
What are Abilities, Anyway?
Abilities are our permanent set of talents and
natural strengths. They stabilize in a person’s life
at about age 14 and are virtually the same
throughout the person’s working years. Abilities
implicate the ways we learn, communicate, make
decisions, and use our creative and mental talents.
The Illuminating Power of
Assessments
Our research has shown us that utilizing assessments
to understand you at a deeper level will be very
helpful to our work. All assessments are taken
online and will be discussed on the telephone. Our
“golden” assessment, which has given much clarity to
many people, is The Highlands Ability Battery.
The Highlands, as it’s called, is a 3½-hour test,
taken online, that reveals those innate abilities of
a person that are formed by the age of 16. It
also reveals an optimal work situation, compatible
work roles, artistic abilities, and learning styles.
Other assessments utilized are the Myers Briggs
Type Indicator (MBTI) and the Strong Interest
Inventory (SII). The Myers Briggs reveals
information about a person’s personality,
temperament and compatible careers. The Strong
Interest Inventory is a short test revealing
information about a person’s interests.
Participants receive a computerized report with
different career suggestions and fields to explore.

take your vision and construct a game plan and
strategies to determine potential areas of interest.
In Phase III, we focus your attention on one or two key
areas and on a formal job search. During this
phase, C.J. will review your resume, provide interviewing
tips, and address any roadblocks that arise. For more
