In “Alice in Wonderland,” Alice's plunge down a rabbit hole becomes a metaphor of life.  In the movie "The Matrix", before Neo starts his hero’s journey, he is asked how far down the rabbit hole he wants to go.  The rabbit hole symbolizes our journey into the unknown.  Both Alice and Neo don’t have any idea of where this journey will lead and what they will face.  But they proceed anyway.  Neo’s guide on this journey, Morpheus, acknowledges that “nothing is as it appears.”

The Background of My Intuitive Life Coaching

Working as a therapist, with a Master’s in Psychiatric Nursing, I gained real life experience in what factors affected motivation and behavior.  With the foundation of understanding human dynamics and the basic framework of understanding people, I used my intuitive gifts to realize the potential of an individual, a group, or an organization.
 

Throughout my entire work life, my creativity fueled my success.  Fascinated by the cyclical nature of change and the emerging patterns, I began research in the fields of creativity and innovation, including creative intelligence.
 

The big question:  If all of us are born with creative talents, what distinguishes the men and women who are recognized for their creative achievements in diverse fields, such as science, engineering, marketing, art, music, manufacturing, literature, poetry, architecture, to name a few?  I quickly discovered that similar patterns exist with every client, from every walk of life.  The differences lie in how they uniquely respond to life’s stimuli and triggers, based on the resources and tools they possess.
 

Starting my career as a nurse therapist before entering the corporate arena, with a Master’s degree in Psychiatric Nursing, I leveraged my unique perspective and creatively approached the business world.  Many articles tout the importance of diversity and objectivity in the workplace.  Working within the world of business, I effectively used my clinician’s background and functioned without any biases or preconceived notions.  Educated in systems theory, all the traditional filters and screens had been removed. 

This was not an easy road and resembled Luke Skywalker’s adventure in Star Wars.  The experiences received throughout this hero’s journey paved the foundation for my passion and commitment to the field of creativity and innovation.  My goal is to assist individuals, groups, and organizations with tools to use their intrinsic creativity within their lives, both at work and within their personal domain.

Assuming unique challenges, I began in the field of executive and technical recruitment for a search firm.  My next challenges were to include leadership roles in corporate consulting, human resources, training and development, health care consulting, telecommunications, IT, performance consulting, sales, advertising, dot.com development, usability, marketing, and e-commerce.  I have worked in diverse industries, such as health care, IT, telecommunications, manufacturing, media, call centers, and tax and financial arenas. 

I am a certified intuitive spiritual coach (College of Executive Coaching), creativity architect™, certified CPP assessments coach, experienced speaker, professional facilitator, writer, and poet.

I am known for my easy engagement of individuals and groups and my renowned humor.  For me, work and being alive is FUN.  My goal is to recharge my clients’ creative batteries and have them invite fun into their life equations.

I have been awarded many accolades throughout her extensive career, including, The World Who’s Who of Women, Who’s Who of Emerging Leaders of America, and Who’s Who in the Midwest.

I am a member of and follow the ethical guidelines of the American Society of Training and Development, Society for Human Resource Management, NAFE, Phi Delta Kappa, and the International Coaching Federation.

Spiritual Background:  A Long Line of Intuitive and Clairsentient Empaths
 

My life is a heroine’s journey, resembling all the famous hero journey stories including “Wizard of Oz,” Alice in Wonderland,” “Gone With the Wind,” “Star Wars,” “Dune,” “Harry Potter,” and “Matrix,” to name a few.  On October 13, 2004, after a serendipitous meeting with Jill Badonsky, author of “The Nine Modern Day Muses and A Bodyguard,” I declared to the world that I was a creative and wrote my first poem, “Search for Destiny’s Door” (see below).
 

Two years ago, I realized that during the majority of my life, my creative talents had been sublimated.  We’re all born creative, yet my intuitive voice was off the charts.  But my story starts much earlier in London, England where I was born.  My paternal grandmother, who was also a psychic, named me.  I inherited her intuitive gifts and even looked like her.  She died unexpectedly when I was four and half years old.  I had lost my psychic guide to help me navigate through life.  So, I overcompensated by using my mind.

Thought I was an intuitive empath, a clairsentient, I successfully shielded myself from my true emotions.  I was genuine, but did not allow myself permission or freedom to feel the pain of the emotions.  When I was eight and a half, my whole world had turned upside down, as I boarded a ship from Liverpool headed for the United States.  I heard the call, the one the heroine hears as she begins her journey:  I was intent on healing the world and transforming it into a loving harmonic place.  I felt this spiritual calling deep in my soul, but it wasn’t until much later that I experienced spiritual manifestations.  Until recently, I didn’t understand the full nature of my journey.
 

On October 13, 2004, the door of authenticity opened as I took the armor off and declared to the universe, that I, myself, and I, am a true creative spirit with a strong intuitive voice.  This has been both a wonderful and frightening time in my life.
 

In November of 2004, I accelerated my spiritual path.  Grounded in Roman Catholic mysticism, with a love of mythology and a life long study of world religions, I started my apprenticeship in Tarot and began spiritual energy classes at the Order of Ascended Rose (psychic institute).  In March 2005, while in the midst of my spiritual healing class; my Dad broke his hip and needed hip replacement surgery.  He had been resisting death for over 15 years due to his inner demons of despair, persecution, and guilt.  I connected with my father spiritually in his hospital room and conducted a spiritual healing.  I helped him transition and accept his natural passage.  I continued the healing process until he peacefully died a couple of weeks later. 

After his death, my mother revealed that I am descended from a rich lineage of shamans, psychics, intuitives, and healers from Eastern Europe.  The night of the funeral, April 13, 2005, I had a transformative spiritual experience that awakened my true spirit.  In June 2005, I became a professional Tarot reader, strengthening my intuitive muscle.  I am continuing on the spiritual path with shamanic journeying, Reiki certification classes, and more.  I started a relationship with myself.  I was raised to believe that it was wrong to take care of oneself, in fact, selfish.  I was destined to guide others to discover their paths on their hero’s journey and uncover their creative potential to create their dream life.
